Lori & Michael Sampson

Wow! I have been blessed with such awesome people to work with throughout the years.  These two are no exception.  A friend that I grew up with had sent this couple my way, (thanks Jennifer).  As soon as they showed up for our consult I knew this was going to turn into a great relationship.  It’s not often that you get a guy who is so into wedding/fashion photography, as we went through the different items, albums etc., he was so excited and blown away at how we, as professional photographers, can design and make a beautiful album layout that just flows and tells the ENTIRE story of the day.  Everything he saw, his exact words were “this is it, I’ve got to have this!”  then we would get to another type of album, again “this is the one, I’ve got to have this one!”  I was so enjoying talking to a guy who was so interested in the process of the way we were going to execute the wedding photography.  His attitude was, whatever I wanted to do, he was game!  This really opened up some doors!  This wedding was about them, no one else, just them.  I think sometimes the bride and groom get in such a rut of having to make sure that they please everyone, her mom, his mom the bridesmaids, on and on and on, that they totally forget the real reason of the day, it’s about them!  I ended up taking over 1200 pictures of just the two of them! how awesome is that?!  Here is a show where you will see  just what it’s all about, to be in love. Enjoy!

Defiantly not one of my most polished slideshows but, it does give a glimpse into the day. I just threw this together in under five minutes.
This is NOT the slideshow the couple will be receiving.

Beverly & Patrick

This couple contacted me from PA, and asked if I would shoot their engagement session, of course, I said! They are not getting married until 2010. We had a great time downtown, and the weather was perfect for our shoot. Enjoy the show!

And they call this new?

This looks as if it came straight from the 80's.  (via engadget)

The folks at Timex were kind enough to send us a pre-production version of their Expedition WS4 watch, and we can tell you right now — some serious adventuring is about to begin. We haven’t had a chance to do all the rock climbing, mountain biking, and sumo wrestling we plan on using this watch for, but we already feel stronger, smarter, more aware of the outside temperature, and way better looking. After we take on a crew of zombie Nazis, ride in a barrel over Niagara Falls, and spend 24 hours encased in ice, we’ll let you know how it holds up.
